The James's Flamingo (Phoenicopterus jamesi), also known as the Puna Flamingo, is a South American flamingo, named for Harry Berkeley James. It breeds on the high Andean plateaus of Peru, Chile, Bolivia and Argentina. It is related to the Andean Flamingo, and the two are often placed in the genus Phoenicoparrus. It is a small and delicate flamingo, approximately 3 feet in height. Its plumage is pale pink, with bright carmine streaks around the neck and on the back. When perched a small amount of black can be seen in the wings. There is bright red skin around the eye. The legs are brick-red and the bill is bright yellow with a black tip. Immature birds are greyish. James's Flamingo is similar to other South American flamingoes, but the Chilean Flamingo is pinker, with a longer bill without yellow, and the Andean Flamingo is larger with more black in the wings and bill, and yellow legs.

It could be family, the one you were born into, or the one you’ve created over time. What matters most is that this “Tribe” or “Support System” is a group of people who support you, that build you up, that make you a better person.

The Spark: Igniting Your Exercise Program

Boredom, it happens to all of us. I know boredom well, very well. I am not completely satisfied by a meal unless there are several delicious options on my plate to satisfy my palate. My fashion style changes every few days. I love something one day and never want to wear it again, well at least for the next few months or so. I used to change the color of my hair constantly. When my hair was short I wanted it to be long and as soon as it was long I’d chop it all off again. My interest in exercise is no different.

How Making Resolutions & Taking Risks Changed My Life Forever

This is the first blog post I’ve ever written. It’s located on my first website that was created for the first business I’ve ever started. A few years back I was living a majority of my life in hospital beds and doctor’s offices with a diagnosis of lupus and a myriad of other ailments. At some point I thought all hope was lost and that all my hopes and dreams were dead. I had officially given up. Everything was a mess. I had to drop out of college, I lost my job, I had to file for bankruptcy because I was drowning in medical bills and I was too sick to get out of bed 90% of the time. I’ll never forget the day I decided to stop feeling sorry for myself.
