I’m continuing our Breathwork Meditation Series with my FAVORITE exercise!
This is my go-to when I have to fly…those of you that know me well know that I HATE flying, that I’m TERRIFIED of flying, and prefer to keep my feet firmly planted on the ground where they belong ✈️😳😂 I used to have to take something to fly, I hated that too, so I started using breathwork, this exercise in particular… and it works SO WELL 🙌🏽✨
Breathwork is a powerful healing tool! Thanks to technology we have access to so many valuable healing methods, but I honestly can’t think of a more accessible healing tool than utilizing our own breath. It’s there for us anytime we need it, and we can do it anywhere, without anyone even noticing…. and it’s FREE 🎊🎉
This exercise combines the benefits of counting, which refocuses your attention, and deep breathing to help you quickly find a state of calm and deep relaxation.
This exercise also helps me deal with insomnia, which I’ve struggled with since I was little. Think of it like counting sheep as you breathe yourself into a deep slumber, you’ll be asleep before you know it 😴 Speaking of, do you know what your Chronotype is? I’m a wolf & dolphin…anyways, that’s a conversation for another post 😂
It’s also great for relieving stress and can be extremely helpful during moments of high anxiety as it refocuses the mind and brings you back to the present moment.
✨ Remember that your breath is with you everywhere you go, you can access healing no matter where you are. You are not alone, relief and healing are at your fingertips ✨
