Vegan treats are THE BEST!!!! If you’ve been unwilling to try vegan treats thus far PLEASE don’t knock them, cause they are so, so, so good and you don’t know what you’re talking about. So instead give them a try and if you still want to knock them go for it, but I will fight you… Just kidding, or am I??? P.S. These are in no particular order, I love them all!!!
1. Donut Friend: 5107 YORK BLVD LOS ANGELES CA 90042
Owned by Mark Trombino, a multi-platinum music producer, drummer, and recording artist. He produced, engineered, and mixed tracks for Blink 182 and Jimmy Eat World, among many others. These are not your typical donuts. They can be made-to-order or you can choose from a menu of donuts that are named after punk bands like; Drive Like Jelly (Drive Like Jehu), and Jets To Basil (Jets To Brazil). They aren’t your typical toppings either. Take Jets To Basil which has: Vegan cream cheese, strawberry jam, and fresh basil inside a traditional donut, topped with vanilla glaze and balsamic reduction. They’re delicious, but don’t take my word for it, check it out for yourself…ENJOY!
2. The Donuttery: 17420 Beach Blvd, Huntington Beach, CA 92647
Sticking with the donut theme, check out The Donuttery. These are not all vegan so be careful but they do have lots and lots of vegan options. They’re cheap, fresh, and delicious. They offer cake and raised, check them out.
3. Seabirds: 2930 Bristol St, Costa Mesa, CA 92626
This is a vegan restaurant, and the food is very good so you should check it out for more than one reason, but let’s talk about their Chaffle. This is what you would get if a churro and a waffle had a baby and then covered it with vanilla ice cream, chocolate sauce, and chopped walnuts. Mmmmmmm…..
4. Real Food Daily: 414 La Cienega Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90048
Also an all vegan restaurant, this place has my all time favorite vegan peanut butter cookie. Sometimes I literally pop in just to buy that cookie and then I go home and stuff my face on the couch in front of my T.V. in my P.J.’s….cause why not. They also have really good Russian Tea Cakes.
-
Erin McKenna’s Bakery (Formerly Known as Babycakes): 236 N Larchmont Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90004
Owned by Erin McKenna who you might remember from the Martha Stewart show, no big deal or anything (way to go Erin)… This is an all vegan, gluten free, soy free, Non-GMO bakery located on the picturesque Larchmont Blvd. This place has it all; soft serve, cupcakes, cakes, donuts, breads, cookies, muffins, brownies, and MORE… OH MY! So good, so yummy!

Van Leeuwan: (Multiple Locations)
You may have seen an adorable little yellow Van Leeuwan truck driving around LA or parked by LACMA. If you saw it and didn’t get some ice cream you’re missing out. This place also has multiple shops located in Los Angeles, as well as Brooklyn & New York, and their vegan options are so good. The base is made with cashews, coconut & cocoa butter, and they have lots of options like: Dark Chocolate, Salted Caramel, Mint Chip, Coffee Bean, Banana Nut, Peanut Butter, Matcha Green Tea and more.
-
Happy Days: 14552 Ventura Blvd, Sherman Oaks, CA 91403
Vegan Churros & Vegan Ice Cream – Open late, 11:00 PM weekdays and 2:00 AM on the weekends. Great place to hang with friends and have delicious treats.

Crossroads Kitchen: 8284 Melrose Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90046
THE BEST VEGAN RESTAURANT I’VE EVER BEEN TOO!!!! There are so many reasons to visit Crossroads, the food is AMAZING, the service is AMAZING, the dessert is AMAZING! The menu changes with the seasons so you’ll always get an opportunity to try something new. Currently on the dessert menu: Pumpkin Mascarpone Semifreddo, Drunken Brownie, Apple Pie & Hot Fudge Sundae and their seasonal sorbet. Seriously, you must eat at this restaurant!
It feels weird to have a list with 8 items on it… why not 5 or 10? Whatever, I’m a weirdo, what can I say, hahaha…. More to come!
Enjoy,
Jenna
