Meditation – Introduction To Breathwork

Last week I shared a breathing gif, that I’m thrilled was helpful for so many of you, thanks for the positive feedback ❤️

I also talked about the surge of requests for ways to help manage the symptoms of stress & anxiety. Most of us have been under some form of quarantine/lockdown for almost 11 months now 😲 and our lives have been upended. Not only has this caused uncertainty but it’s also triggered an increase in stress & anxiety.

There are many things that can help us manage stress & anxiety, but after putting a lot of thought into what seems to help the most, both for my clients & myself, the thing that came up for me over & over was breathwork.

So, if you’re new to breathwork & you’re curious about how it can help then this is the meditation for you. I’ll discuss what breathwork is, how it can help & then we’ll do a short breathing exercise together to get you started.

You don’t need any experience, just a comfortable & preferably distraction-free space to breathe with me.

If you’re looking for something more advanced, stay tuned. I’ve got lots more coming your way!

I chose breathwork over other tools that are available to manage stress & anxiety for a lot of reasons, but the #1 reason I went in this direction is that it’s the most accessible tool, since you can do it anytime & anywhere.

You’re breathing right now. You breathe 24/7, 365 days a year, without even having to think about it. When we breathe naturally & organically it’s purely by reflex. Its accessibility makes it an invaluable tool for managing stress & anxiety.

I can’t wait to breathe with you ❤️😌

Follow this link to listen to this meditation on Insight Timer now & let me know how it went for you. Your feedback helps me create more content that’s important & helpful for you. Feel free to share meditation requests that you think might be helpful as well. Thanks for meditating with me 🙏🏽

Come back to these meditations for daily support. Remember, your brain is a muscle too. The more you train it the happier and healthier you’ll be ❤️
